AMD demonstrated a tablet based APU Trinity A6 running Windows 8

During the Computex 2012, AMD is recalled to imagine a tablet computer based on a hybrid processor-based AMD Trinity A6. Moreover, the novelty is running an operating system, Windows 8. The device is performed by Compal and boasts a11.6-inch touchscreen that runs at a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels.

The tablet can also be used in conjunction with a docking station that turns it into afull-fledged laptop. Recall that at the moment we know of two dual-core APU Trinity A6: A6-4455M, and A6-4400M. The first chip is clocked at 2.1GHz and has 2MB of cache second level. The second APU operates at a frequency of 2.7 GHz, but only has 1 MB cache second level.
