Buffalo introduced a portable SSD with support for Thunderbolt and USB 3.0


Several months ago, the Japanese company has released Buffalo MiniStation Thunderbolt, and now she is ready to offer a new portable solid state drive (SSD) with support for Thunderbolt and USB 3.0. This model MiniStation HD-PATU3S.

Novelty has a compact aluminum body, as MiniStation Thunderbolt. The speed of the drive via Thunderbolt will be up to 382 MB / c, while the hard drives with the same interface showing only 109 MB / c.

Buffalo reported that a series of HD-PATU3S yet will only include 128 - and 256-gigabyte model. Their cost and the exact date of the sale, are still not known.
