Dynabook KIRA V832 is a 13.3" Ultrabook with WQHD

Toshiba subsidiary Dynabook rolled out the KIRA V832 Ultrabook, the first of its kind to feature a brilliant WQHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) screen. The 13.3-incher features an aluminium unibody construction on both its halves, with a reinforced oleophobic glass panel covering its screen. Under its hood is a fairly conventional set of hardware for Ultrabooks.

The KIRA V832 is driven by an Intel Core i5-3337U "Ivy Bridge" dual-core processor, clocked at 1.80~2.70 GHz, with HyperThreading, 6 MB L3 cache, Intel HD graphics, and companion Intel HM76 Express chipset. The processor is backed by 8 GB of dual-channel DDR3 memory, and a 128 GB SSD.

Other features of the KIRA V832 include a 2-megapixel web-cam, 802.11 b/g/n WLAN, Bluetooth 4.0, three USB 3.0 ports, an HDMI display output, SDXC card slot, and stereo HD audio. Its unspecified lithium-polymer battery takes 3:30 hours to charge, and gives you up to 9:30 hours of usage. Measuring 316 mm x 207 mm x 9.5-19.8 mm (WxDxH), the V832 weighs about 1.35 kg.

Dynabook plans to release KIRA V832 to Japanese consumers first, starting this April 24.
