Verizon intros two new cheap phones: LG Cosmos 3 and LG Revere 2

Almost two years after releasing the LG Cosmos 2, now Verizon has launched its follow-up, logically named LG Cosmos 3.

Just like the old Cosmos, the new one is a non-smartphone that offers both a QWERTY and an alphanumeric keypad. Its other features include a 2 inch QVGA display, Facebook and Twitter integration, 1.3MP rear camera, and MicroSD card support. The Cosmos 3 is free with a new 2-yr contract agreement, and can be bought online here. If you don’t want a contract, the phone costs $189.99.

Another new handset available at Verizon now is the LG Revere 2. This is a clamshell that’s also offered for free on contract, or $199.99 without any agreement. Buy it here. The LG Revere 2 features a 2 inch internal display with 220 x 176 pixels, 1–inch external screen, VZ Navigator, and a 1.3MP rear camera.

The Cosmos 3 and the Revere 2 are being introduced not long after Verizon launched the LG Lucid 2 – a 4.3 inch qHD smartphone that runs Android Jelly Bean.
