Samsung Galaxy S 4 With Snapdragon 800 In The Works

Only a couple of days after Galaxy S 4 Active and Zoom has been announced, Samsung is working on another Galaxy S 4 variant. According to Samsung's co-CEO JK Shin, new Galaxy S 4 will be the first smartphone that will support 4G LTE-Advanced. The next generation radio gives a massive boost in network speeds, up to as much as 3 Gbps down and 1.5 Gbps up.

"We'll be the first with the commercial launch of the advanced 4G version of the smartphone. The new LTE-Advanced (4G) phone will be another addition to our high-end segment offerings that ensure healthy profit margins," said JK Shin, Samsung's co-CEO.

Thanks to a Japanese blog called rbmen, we have the user manual of the device that reveals handset's specifications. The most interested thing is the CPU, which is the Qualcomm MSM8974, better known as the Snapdragon 800.

Other specs include Full HD Super AMOLED display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, and the phone measures 69.8 x 136.6 x 7.9 mm. Allegedly the smartphone could debut as soon as the end of the month in Korea, so stay tuned for new information.
