Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, 8.0 and 10.1 should be launched in the UK next month

KOREAN HARDWARE MAKER Samsung's trio of Galaxy Tab 3 devices, measuring 7in, 8in and 10.1in, respectively,  will be coming to the UK in July.

That's according to Carphone Warehouse, which has added the three tablets to its Coming Soon webpage. According to the retailer, the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 and Galaxy Tab 10.1 will all start shipping in the UK next month, with each having been slapped with a July release date.

There's no word on pricing yet, and Samsung has yet to announce any availability details.

We're assuming that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 will be the cheapest of the three. Announced back in April, the tablet looks to take on the iPad Mini with its 7in 1024x600 display, which comes powered by Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and a dual-core 1.2GHz processor. There are also 3MP and 1.3MP cameras, either 8GB or 16GB of internal storage and a 4,000mAh battery. At the time of the tablet's unveiling, we heard that it would be released in June, so it looks like Samsung might have delayed it slightly.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 is essentially a Galaxy Note 8.0 without a stylus or the ability to make calls. In terms of specifications, expect Google's latest Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean mobile operating system skinned with Samsung's Touchwiz user interface, along with 1.5GB of RAM, 5MP and 1.3MP cameras and a 4,450mAh battery.

Samsung's Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 is the most interesting of the three, and probably will be the most expensive. The device comes powered by a dual-core 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor and the Android 4.2.2 mobile operating system, and features LTE support.
