Giant 13.3-Inch Hannspad SN14T71 Tablet Released in the UK

A while ago, we have reported that Samsung might be working on a massive 13.3-inch tablet, hoping to attract the attention of enterprises. On top of that, there has been a lot of speculation about Apple releasing a Maxi iPad somewhere in the future.

It appears the two tech giants aren't the only ones choosing to go down this road, other companies are rushing to jump aboard the large slate bandwagon, with Hannspree being one of them.

The company has unleashed a 13.3-inch tablet called Hannspad that comes with 1280 x 800 pixel resolution (it isn't that much for a tablet that size). The slate draws power from a 1.6GHz quad-core ARM processor coupled with 1GB of RAM, reports TechDigest.

16GB of internal storage can be found onboard, with the possibility of expanding to 32GB via the microSD card. There’s also Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 to take advantage of.

Something you won’t be able to find with any Android tablet out there is the USB-On-The-Go support technology that allows users to plug a USB keyboard or mouse and use it with the tablet.

In the photography department, the slate doesn't bring much innovation, there’s only a 2MP rear camera and a 0.3MP frontal one.

The price is probably the biggest selling point of the slate, as users can get it for only £199 / $316 / €235 a pop.
