New Sony NEX Mirrorless Camera Coming Before CP+ 2014

Sony will be announcing new E-mount mirrorless cameras as well as A-mount digital SLRs in the first months of 2014.

According to SonyAlphaRumors, a successor for the Sony NEX-7 mirrorless interchangeable lens camera is ready to be unveiled sometime before the CP+ show in Japan, which takes place from February 13 to 16.

A few weeks ago, a new patent was discovered featuring plans for a future Sony NEX digital camera equipped with a 35mm full frame sensor.

The new camera appears to be smaller and cheaper than the recently released Sony A7 and A7R models, which was very well received by Sony fans.

Besides the NEX-7 successor, Sony is about to unveil two new A-mount cameras that seem to share the same sensor as the A7 and A7R mirrorless models.

Sony A7/A7R are now available for purchase in Asia and Europe while customers in the US have to wait until December 1 before they could get their hands on the world's first full frame mirrorless camera.
